David Saliba discovered literature as an undergraduate at the University of Texas in Austin. He received his Ph.D in English from Brown University. His keen interest in Poe and Jungian psychology resulted in his dark discovery of the nightmarish structure of Poe's gothic-style fiction. His continued interest in psychology, cinema, music, American literature and culture is permeated in his stories. He hails from San Jose, California and is a very experienced editor with excellent attention to detail. David R. Saliba

Having a passion for literature and journalism, Lilith began her writing career as a writer/editor for her high school newspaper. In addition to having her poems published in Poetry.com, she went on to receive the editor's choice award for  publiications in paranormal romance writing. Miss Lilith is also in the process of completing her vampire novel series. She has a passion for graphic arts and photography but wants to get more journalism experience by being the main author interviewer and reviewer for SNM Horror Mag.     

"I was born in 1980 in New Mexico and I am currently living in the great state of Arizona. I live with my family and children. When I was very young, my only sister moved and joined the military and I grew up living with my brothers. I am also known online as the “Shinigami Vamp Lilith." For me, it’s refreshing to meet fellow dark fiction writers or artists of all walks of life that can introduce me to their Netherworld. This mag embodies that and I am proud to be part of the team and family that is SNM."

Theresa Newbill made her chilling debut here at SNM Mag with her hauntingly realistic story "Children of the Trade." After reading her poetry and seeing how concise her writing was, it only made sense to have her host our new dark poetry theme as a selecting editor and a regular contributor. Theresa has been involved on staff with other presses, doing interviews and has excellent background credentials. She is a former elementary school  teacher turned "dark fiction writer." Her work has been widely published in other print and online magazines. She has received numerous awards for her writing. She is self-described as a free spirit and has quite a vision for poetry. Check out her Myspace  page and friend her. She will also be making regular poem / short story contributions so please welcome her aboard.

Crystal Adkins has taken on a new roll at SNM. Effective as of February 1st, 2009, she will be developing independent author packages and press kits to help promote new up and coming writers of all genres. She comes very highly recommended and will create customized packages: a press kit, book cover design and a review. She will promote them via distribution channels and on Myspace. She is very established in the community and will make your book promotion and package a successful one. She is no longer doing SNM author interviews or book reviews.
